NOTICE OF MODIFIED LOBBY ACCESS

March 31, 2020

In an on-going effort to further limit any potential health risks associated with the Coronavirus (COVID19), we are limiting lobby access to “appointment only” at all locations through April 30, 2020.

Our drive-thru services (where available) will be fully staffed and continue to offer full banking services during regular business hours. Bank business can be transacted as usual, but in order to comply with social distancing recommendations, please call ahead to schedule an appointment to complete any of the following:

  • Loan applications
  • Open a deposit account
  • Access your Safe Deposit Box
  • Assistance with modification to current accounts

We also encourage you to utilize our online banking services, ATM’s, and night depositories. With our Anytime, Anywhere ATM access, you can use any ATM and we will refund any ATM usage fees. We will monitor our night depositories throughout the day and process transactions daily.

At this time, our lobbies remain open and our day to day operations are fully functioning. Our staff is taking extra precautionary steps such as using hand sanitizers, following hand washing and social distancing practices, as well as utilizing cash handling safety measures. 

For your convenience, Sterling provides several ways you can safely access your accounts and manage your finances from the comfort of your home. Should you have questions or require assistance with any of our online services, please contact your local branch. 

Online Banking enables you to conduct bank transactions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once you are enrolled, this free service allows instant and secure access to your accounts. You can view account activity, print or download information as needed, as well as transfer money between accounts. 

Bill Pay allows you to pay bills 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from your computer or our mobile app.

Sterling Bank Mobile Banking enables you to bank on your phone or tablet. By downloading our Sterling Bank Mobile App, you can bank on the go with quick and easy access to your accounts from your smartphone or tablet. The Sterling Bank Mobile App may be downloaded through the Google Play Store for Android devices or the iTunes App Store for iPhones/iPads. 

Mobile Deposit provides an easy way to deposit checks directly through your mobile device. 

ATM Anytime Anywhere allows you to use your Sterling Bank debit card at any ATM worldwide any time of the day or night, and we will cover the ATM usage fee.

Direct Deposit is a free service offered which allows quicker access to your funds. Payments such as payroll checks and government checks can be directly deposited into your checking or savings account. 

Finally, it is important to be aware of scammers who will try to take advantage of you during this difficult time. Sterling Bank will never contact you asking for your account number, social security number, or your debit or credit card number. Call us at 573-778-0101 if you are contacted by a scammer to ensure your accounts have not been affected.
